The successful Designer will collaboratively work with architectural, interior and graphic designers to implement EGD projects. They will assist in design and create fabrication documentation and production artwork. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of fabrication methods and materials as well as graphic form, typography, imagery and general aesthetics. This candidate must have the ability to manage time across multiple projects and schedules.

Must have three or more years of Environmental Graphic Design experience and undergraduate degree in graphic, industrial or interior design, or architecture. Must be proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign. Revit, AutoCAD and Sketchup knowledge a plus.

Our office in Durham, North Carolina is growing and we are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will take responsibility for managing project work, including schematic design, design development, contract document preparation, and construction administration services for the project team. They will be successful in understanding the client’s business objectives and translating those objectives to the project team to ensure projects goals are met. Must have the ability to build and maintain relationships internally and foster trusting personal relationships with key client contacts.

Must have minimum of 10 years of architectural experience, with an emphasis in Corporate/Workplace projects, Science projects a plus. Must have a professional or masters degree in architecture, architectural registration (NCARB) in North Carolina. LEED accredited preferred. Must have experience managing projects using Revit and AutoCAD.

BHDP Interns are successful in supporting the project team to meet the architectural goals of its clients. They possess strong basic architectural skills but have many opportunities to develop and refine the skills required to effectively execute projects through to completion. Must have the ability to build relationships and foster trust with internal and external clients. Interns are capable of supporting project work effectively while pursuing the knowledge needed to become a registered architect.

Must have a degree from an accredited architectural program and actively pursuing IDP/professional registration. Strong AutoCAD and technical experience desired. Experience with Revit a plus.

BHDP Interior Designers are successful in performing all aspect of the interior design process of small to large projects. Must have the ability to create design concepts in accordance with the program and the construction budget and manage the process through to completion. Must have the ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to effectively present the design concepts for approval.

Must have a minimum of three years experience with a degree from a four year accredited interior design program; strong knowledge of AutoCAD and sketch up, Revit experience a plus. NCIDQ certification or pursuit of certification recommended.

BHDP Project Architects are successful in performing the technical aspects of medium to large projects working with the Project Designer, Project Manager and other member of the team to meet all architectural goals for the project. They effectively manage the technical staff to produce high quality architectural drawings. Builds and maintains strong relationships with all engineering and other special consultants to successfully coordinate all aspects of the project work.

Must be a registered architect with a minimum of five years experience, must have strong technical knowledge of design development, contract document preparation and construction administration.

BHDP Project Managers are successful in managing medium to large projects working with Project Designer, Project Architects and others to assemble a winning team. Must have the ability to effectively execute projects through a well-developed project budget and schedule. Must have the ability to build and maintain relationships internally and foster trusting personal relationships with key client contacts.

Must be a registered architect with a minimum of eight years experience; strong technical skills to support the project from design through construction.
