Goals

Design multiple theater venues at Fountain Square as well as connect the potential retail development of 5th and Race to link and energize the space.

Strategy

Residential space was built on top of the theater space, overlooking the square. A covered connection between this residential area and the 5th and Race retail was designed to provide easy, convenient access for tenants. A green space “pre-function” area would also be featured on top of the existing Macy’s near the covered connection.

Results

An exciting space that invites people to downtown in an effort to revitalize the area.
