BHDP Architecture is hosting “Inspiration and Innovation” with renowned and award-winning Italian Architect and Designer Giorgio Borruso on November 21, 2013.
Borruso is best known for his innovative experiential designs for famous fashion houses and major fashion retailers. To date, his designs have received over eighty international awards, have appeared in over a thousand publications, and are exhibited in the collections of the Chicago Athenaeum and Red Dot Museum. Giorgio Borruso won in 2012, with the Carlo Pazolini project, the great Red Dot Design Award, Best of the Best.
The annual lecture, hosted by BHDP, for the students in the University of Cincinnati College of Design, Architecture, Art and Planning (DAAP) and the Miami University Department of Architecture + Interior Design helps connect BHDP to future design professionals. Borruso is a “wish list” speaker for both universities.
His visit to Cincinnati will help students see the bigger picture of design and branding through spaces that invite and engage customers. Under the leadership of Andrew McQuilkin, shareholder and retail market leader, retail design is a strong and growing business for BHDP.
