Bowling Green State University (BGSU) opened a new organic chemistry lab for students this fall. The new lab is open to all chemistry majors, as well as many other science students.
According to a BGSU newsletter article, “the fresh new space, completely redone and renovated, provides a state-of-the-art learning and teaching environment that is also significantly more energy efficient than the former space.”
The lab has 12 new clear glass lab hoods, one ADA-compliant hood, a computer projection system, two flat-screen monitors, a “back bench” work station near the hoods, viewing windows, and new LED lighting.
The new lab was designed by BHDP. To learn more about the project, visit BGSU’s website.
