The Jean Student Center at Saint Anselm College is an active and fluid space, promoting openness, integration and inclusiveness. The student experience within the building is organized around themes critical to the College’s strategic plan—Academic Success, The College Mission and Student Life—with purposeful moves to encourage activity and engagement through transparency and flowing spaces. The design creatively links the Student Center, adjacent gymnasium and student recreation center with a central circulation spine. This design improves circulation and access to all buildings while providing much needed expansion space for students and the relocation of the bookstore to the Student Center.
