of space at P&G focused on the employee experience
The Hub
01 Challenge
BHDP developed a long-standing relationship with Procter & Gamble (P&G) dating back to our company’s early days. To modernize their Global Headquarters, P&G tasked BHDP with several projects to enhance their Main Street Corridor—a strip of employee amenities and workspaces. BHDP purposefully designed Main Street to tell the P&G brand and wellness story, prioritize user experience, and reinforce changing work methods and business needs. To further support this initiative, P&G required a curated space that prioritizes employee needs.
02 Solution
BHDP designed “The Hub,” an employee care area featuring a concierge, lounge, genius bar, tech room, promotions space, and learning academy. Whether employees need assistance with their technology, or international guests require concierge services, employees can find it in this contemporary lounge. The service bar was purposefully designed to serve as a focal point for the space, and it includes curved countertops at different heights to ensure a comfortable experience for every guest.

The finished space is inviting, purposeful, and accessible. Employees can now grab a cup of coffee from Café 1837, a full-service coffee and food bar inspired by an old-fashioned saloon (completed by BHDP in 2019), then head to the futuristic Hub to mingle, meet with IT for assistance, or simply relax—all in one place. Furthermore, BHDP remains partnered with P&G on multiple projects, including the continuous advancement of Main Street.
This inviting sanctuary features banquette style seating for comfort, large windows for natural light, and wireless charging stations for ease-of-use.
Typography is integrated into an architectural wood slat feature that identifies the space, elevating the sign into a piece of art.
Exposed concrete floors and solid surface countertops reinforce the modern design, while the various furniture layouts allow for a broad range of interactions.
Inspired by the simplicity of the wood slat wall, BHDP hired local artist Lyndon Probst to bring our vision to life—both inside The Hub and at the first vista from the staircase that connects to the main lobby.
