HYBRID WORK

thrives in the office, supported by adaptable workspaces and cutting-edge technology.

Toronto General Office Renovation

01 Challenge

P&G Canada sought to relocate the Toronto General Office (GO) to a new, collaborative, and flexible workspace reflecting the company’s values and culture. BHDP was tasked with designing an environment that sparks spontaneous, innovative interactions and empowers employees to curate their day. The challenge was to build on the previous office’s strengths, address its gaps, and use employee feedback to design a space that supports hybrid work, reflects P&G’s global brand and Canadian culture, and energizes employees through the transition.

02 Solution

BHDP collaborated closely with P&G Canada, gathering employee insights through surveys and focus groups. This feedback shaped a dynamic design strategy featuring open, adaptable workspaces and state-of-the-art technology to support a hybrid work environment. The layout fosters collaboration with creative meeting spaces and quiet zones for focused work while incorporating experiential graphic design (EGD) that infuses the space with a tangible sense of place and connection.

Celebrating P&G's Legacy and Canada's Beauty

Collaborating with a local artist, historians, and employees, BHDP created a cohesive graphics package that reflects both the P&G brand and Canadian heritage, incorporating regional nuances such as spelling variations and aesthetic preferences. Key elements include Canadian geographic features integrated into the wayfinding system and a hand-painted mural designed to foster a connection to the local community.
