A collaboration with the newly established Department of Applied Physical Sciences, the Makerspace was designed as a highly flexible, multipurpose space, housing a diverse range of tools. It facilitates hands-on instruction, giving students a structured environment that will help them learn the iterative process of making, and provides the space and technology to foster interdisciplinary collaboration. The space also includes flexible research laboratories, offices and spaces for meeting and collaboration.
