BHDP Architecture and Human Nature Team on Massive Renovation of Procter & Gamble Headquarters’ Gardens
Procter & Gamble engaged long-time partner, BHDP Architecture, on a renovation of their 40-year-old gardens surrounding their downtown Cincinnati headquarters. Human Nature, a locally based landscape architecture firm, also brings its expertise to this large, phased renovation project.
Built in the 1980s, the gardens were the largest privately owned green space downtown Cincinnati and continue to serve both the community and P&G employees. The renovation will take roughly a year to complete and will improve accessibility and modernize gathering spaces
“Partnering with Procter & Gamble for more than six decades has been a cornerstone of BHDP’s history, but the opportunity to reimagine the P&G Gardens is a unique milestone for us. This space is a vital bridge between a global headquarters and the City of Cincinnati,” says Josh Harper, Lead Architect at BHDP. “We are excited to team with Human Nature once again to elevate this iconic amenity, focusing on increased accessibility and modern functionality to ensure the Gardens remain a premier gathering place for everyone.”
BHDP and Human Nature have successfully collaborated on numerous projects over the years, including the City of Blue Ash Towne Square, Washington Park, and Fountain Square. BHDP has also completed countless projects for Procter & Gamble, including The Hub at their downtown headquarters and multiple Sales Offices across the country.
