01 Challenge
BHDP was engaged to design the Raleigh Radiology Midtown Imaging Center, located within a first-generation shell space. The clinic offers a wide range of imaging services, including MRI, Ultrasound, CT, X-ray, Mammography, and DEXA, all strategically clustered around centralized staff support areas to ensure an efficient workflow.
02 Solution
The suite's entry is bright and welcoming, with strong branding reflecting the Raleigh Radiology identity. Tech work areas were strategically placed to connect to each modality, allowing staff to support one another while minimizing circulation. To support potential growth, a separate patient entrance was added for future vascular interventional radiology services.

With a thoughtful layout and a focus on both present and future needs, the Raleigh Radiology Midtown Imaging Center is a fully equipped, state-of-the-art imaging facility that supports both efficient clinical workflows and a comfortable patient experience.
The CT room offers ample space for a range of scans, with integrated millwork that maximizes storage without limiting workflow.
The mammography biopsy room includes ample space to accommodate equipment and support efficient patient care.
A conference room was designed within the administrative wing, providing a dedicated space for meetings. This room is complemented by a balcony, offering staff a private outdoor area.
