BHDP Architecture and Cedarville University Celebrate Topping Out of Bolthouse Academic Center
BHDP Architecture, Cedarville University, and Danis Construction celebrated the topping out of the Bolthouse Academic Center, marking the completion of vertical construction on the $35 million project. Faculty and staff were invited to sign the final beam.
Once complete, the project will provide state-of-the-art spaces for education, research, and student collaboration. The 48,000-SF, three-story academic center will house several key academic departments and feature innovative research labs, classrooms, and collaborative spaces designed to foster interaction between students and faculty.

“Being a part of the Bolthouse Academic Center project has been an incredible privilege. Watching the topping out ceremony today is more than a construction milestone; it’s a testament to the vision and collaboration shared by BHDP Architecture, Cedarville University, and Danis Construction,” says Paul Orban, BHDP’s Managing Principal and Higher Education Market Leader. “We’re proud to help create a space that will support generations of students and faculty.”
The building is expected to be completed by summer 2027.
BHDP also partnered with Cedarville University to design the Scharnberg Business and Communication Center and the Callan Athletic and Academic Expansion.
