BHDP’s Siemens Wellwater Project Honored as ENR West Best Manufacturing Project

Engineering News-Record’s (ENR) West announced their 2026 California Best Project Winners, and BHDP’s Siemens Wellwater project in Pomona, California, received the award for Best Manufacturing Project. BHDP’s partner, HITT Contracting, submitted the project for consideration. 

ENR selects projects for their ability to overcome challenges, contributions to the industry and community, and the safety, construction, and design quality. ENR selected a total of 61 projects from 29 categories. 

“Siemens’ commitment to sustainability helped shape the Pomona expansion, demonstrating how manufacturing growth and environmental responsibility can advance together,” said Daniel Lessing, Integrated Industrial Design Market Leader at BHDP. “Having partnered with Siemens since 2018, we’re proud to help translate that commitment into an all-electric manufacturing facility that supports their people and long-term growth. This recognition celebrates Siemens’ vision and the entire project team, including HITT Contracting, whose construction expertise brought the design to life, and who submitted the project for this honor.”

This is BHDP’s second award from ENR this year, having received the Best Project in Higher Education award in the Midwest region for the Old Chem renovation and expansion at the University of Cincinnati.
