Cincinnati Children’s has acquired the 180,000-SF office building at 3090 Exploration Avenue in Cincinnati, OH, located within the city’s Uptown Innovation District. BHDP is leading the design for Cincinnati Children’s space within the building, supporting the institution’s ongoing efforts to expand its research capacity.

The top two floors of the six-story building—totaling 60,000 SF—will be dedicated to Cincinnati Children’s and will house more than 200 existing employees. The remaining four floors, comprising 120,000 SF, will be leased to organizations aligned with the Uptown innovation ecosystem.

As part of this initiative, Cincinnati Children’s has committed to creating 100 new research jobs with a payroll of at least $10 million and increasing its volume of federally funded research. This acquisition reflects Cincinnati Children’s continued investment in advancing pediatric research and innovation in the region.
