Daniel Lessing Named Industrial Market Leader at BHDP Architecture
BHDP Architecture is proud to announce the promotion of Daniel Lessing to Market Leader for its Industrial market. With nearly 25 years of experience, including 7 years at the firm, Daniel is a trusted mentor and leader in the market.
Daniel began his career in engineering with Toyota Motor North America after graduating from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. Working across the United States and Japan, focusing on greenfield manufacturing construction, Daniel then joined BHDP in 2019 as Client Leader, working with clients in the Industrial and Discovery & Science markets.
“It is a privilege to step into this new role as Market Leader and help shape the future of Industrial design at BHDP,” said Daniel. “My years at Toyota gave me an owner’s perspective on industrial operations, long-range planning, and capital investment decisions. That experience helps me better understand our clients' business objectives and translate them into facilities that support growth, operational excellence, and long-term value.”
Daniel is passionate about sustainability and innovation within the industry, two areas in which he has also led firm-wide initiatives. He has worked on projects both nationally and internationally for clients like Forge Biologics, Ford Motor Company, Toyota, Whirlpool, and Fujifilm.

Similar to his previous Client Leader role, Daniel will continue to build and maintain relationships with industrial clients and lead the strategic direction of the Industrial Market at BHDP.
