01 Challenge
Rapidly expanding UK-based MedPharm, known for its development, testing, and manufacturing of pharmaceuticals for topical and transdermal use, selected BHDP to design its first US-based facility in Research Triangle Park, NC.
02 Solution
To accommodate MedPharm’s anticipated future expansion in both production and personnel, BHDP designed a unique layout for the facility that maximizes the efficiency of the space while optimizing operations. This new 6,500-SF environment incorporates a tissue culture lab, analytical testing and performance labs, with additional office support areas.

Despite difficult modifications late in the design phases due to MedPharm’s higher than
anticipated growth, BHDP completed the design on schedule while still meeting all its
flexibility, programming, and aesthetic goals.
